Matthias Maenhaut

Matthias Maenhaut serves as the Head of Research Belgium and co-head of the Brussels Branch at Kepler Cheuvreux since March 2018, overseeing a team of five analysts and contributing to the group research management. Previously, Matthias worked as an Equity Research Analyst within the same firm, focusing on providing equity research, sales, and trading services in partnership with Belfius. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Equity Research at ING, where Matthias specialized in fundamental equity research and international client marketing. Additionally, roles include Credit Risk Analyst at ING and Senior Risk Underwriter at Euler Hermes. Matthias holds a Postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from KU Leuven, a Master’s Degree in Finance and Risk Management from HOGENT, and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Ghent University. Recently, Matthias completed the Mindful Me program in 2023 and has passed level II of the CFA program.
