Cameron Parvini has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. In 2008, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Qualcomm, where they focused on testing and debugging software. In 2010, they served as an Engineering Intern at SPAWAR, where they brainstormed ideas for a new robot for Naval application and utilized CAD software for basic designs. From 2010 to 2014, Cameron held two roles at The George Washington University as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the GWU Micropropulsion and Nanotechnology Lab and as an Academic Technologies Staff Assistant providing technical support. In 2014, they were a Research Intern in the Propulsion Sciences department at The Aerospace Corporation, specifically studying Electric Propulsion and Electrostatic Discharge propagation on solar array cells. Continuing their education, Cameron became a Graduate Assistant at The George Washington University from 2014 to 2021 while pursuing their PhD. In 2021, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher (Special Volunteer) at The National Institutes of Health, focusing on viscoelastic information extraction from biological samples. Most recently, Cameron joined Kepler Communications Inc. in 2022 as an EEE Component and Radiation Engineer. Additionally, they have had multiple roles at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, including Aerospace Engineer in the Pathways program, Electronics Engineer, AST, and Astrophysics Summer Intern, where they contributed to data analysis, system development, control systems modeling, and physics model creation for various missions.

Cameron Parvini completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science, starting in 2010 and graduating in 2014. In 2012, they briefly attended University College Dublin to study Mechanical Engineering, but no degree was specified. In 2014, Parvini pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science, which was completed in 2015. They then continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from 2016 to 2021.
