Nathaniel Johnston

Nathaniel Johnston is currently employed as a PCB Layout & Component Libraries Engineer at Kepler Communications Inc., a position held since January 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Solutions Architecture Developer at BlackBerry, where Nathaniel developed a parser for RFC5424 Syslogs and designed a Syslog emulator, among other projects. Nathaniel also contributed to the design of a React application for detecting security vulnerabilities and developed a real-time notification Android app using React Native and Firebase. Other notable positions include Quantum Computing Laboratory Research Assistant at the Institute for Quantum Computing, Waterloop Motor Control Subteam Lead, and Software Developer at Martello Technologies. Nathaniel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in April 2022.
