Debabrata Bhattacharjee

Debabrata Bhattacharjee has a diverse work experience in the cement industry. Debabrata began their career at Larsen & Toubro in 2001, where they served as a Shift In Charge for Process & QC for six years. Following that, they worked at Lafarge Cement and Calcom Cement India Limited in various managerial positions related to process and quality control. In 2011, they joined W.R. Grace & Co. as an Area Sales Manager for their Eastern Cement division. Subsequently, they moved to Dalmia Cement as a Dy.Manager for Process & QC before taking on the role of Head of Quality Control at Kerakoll Group in 2014. In this position, they focused on formulation and development of cementitious adhesives, conducting trials for new products, and providing support to production and technical teams.

Debabrata Bhattacharjee completed their high school education at Bidhan Chandra Institution in Durgapur from 1995 to 1997, with a focus on physics, chemistry, and math. Debabrata then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at The University of Burdwan from 1997 to 2001. After a few years, they decided to further their education and from 2008 to 2010, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Operation Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, specializing in Operation Management.

Additionally, Bhattacharjee has obtained two certifications in Six Sigma. In May 2023, they obtained a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the Indian Statistical Institute (SQC & OR), followed by a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from LinkedIn in April 2023.
