Katie Selves

Katie Selves has over 20 years of work experience in various legal and HR roles. Katie is currently the Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel at Kernel Global, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, Katie served as the General Counsel at Kernel Global from November 2021 to July 2023. Before joining Kernel Global, they worked at Gattaca from October 2018 to November 2021, where they held the role of Group General Counsel. At Gattaca, Katie was responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance matters across the group, including contract management, employee relations, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Katie also led a team of specialists in commercial, employment, and compliance matters. Prior to their time at Gattaca, Katie worked at Archon Solicitors Limited as a Solicitor, providing legal advice to corporate and high net worth clients on employment law matters. Katie was responsible for advising on a range of issues, including discrimination, whistleblowing, and severance packages. Katie began their career in 2002 as an HR Officer at London General Holdings Limited.

Katie Selves completed their Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from Henley Business School from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Legal Practice Course from The University of Law from 2004 to 2006. Katie also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Kingston University, which they earned from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, Katie attained an LLB Hons in Law from Kingston University between 1999 and 2002. Katie completed their A-Levels at Havant Sixth Form College from 1997 to 1999 and their high school education at Bishop Luffa School from 1992 to 1997.
