Richard Cornell

Richard Cornell is an experienced professional in quality control and pharmaceutical sciences, currently serving as the Director of Quality Control at Keros Therapeutics since April 2023, following a similar role at Orum Therapeutics. Prior to these positions, Richard spent over two decades at Pfizer, where responsibilities included leading multidisciplinary teams for the development and implementation of GMP drug substances, formulations, and product commercialization. Richard’s extensive background encompasses roles from Senior Research Scientist to Analytical R&D Team Leader, with a strong focus on large molecule pharmaceuticals, analytical techniques, and regulatory compliance. Earlier roles included laboratory management at Wyeth BioPharma and analytical work at Genetics Institute, complemented by teaching high school sciences. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
