Troy Robinson

Troy Robinson is an experienced Chief Development Officer with a strong background in nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement. Currently serving at Kesem since May 2025, Troy leads national fundraising strategies aimed at sustainable revenue growth. Previously, at The Trevor Project from March 2024 to April 2025, Troy provided strategic leadership to secure financial resources for youth in crisis, successfully developing a multi-year fundraising plan that raised over $60 million. While serving at Rise Against Hunger from May 2020 to October 2023, Troy demonstrated visionary leadership, managing organizational transitions and recruitment efforts. At Camp Fire from June 2017 to April 2020, Troy directed fund development activities, including major gifts and donor cultivation. Earlier experience includes a role as National Director of Major Gifts at Playworks from July 2015 to June 2017, where Troy managed a portfolio of major gift prospects and coordinated fundraising activities. Troy holds a degree in Communications from Kent State University.
