Simo Saastamoinen

Simo Saastamoinen is the current Managing Director at Kesla Oyj. Prior to their current position, they served as a Director at LiteOnmobile from July 2008 to December 2011. In this role, they were responsible for Capacity and Industrial Planning/Global Operations. Simo also served as Director SCM at LiteOnmobile from November 2009 to December 2010, where they were an expatriate in Guangzhou Perlos/LiteOnMobile, China. From July 2008 to October 2009, they were based in Finland.

Before joining LiteOnmobile, Saastamoinen spent nearly 10 years at Perlos OYJ from June 1999 to August 2008. In their role as Director Project Operation from February 2008 to July 2008, they were responsible for ensuring successful ramp-ups of customer projects. From March 2007 to January 2008, they served as Director of Global Sourcing and from December 2005 to February 2007, they were Director of Supply Chain Management. In these roles, Saastamoinen was responsible for the management of annual spend budget of 300 M€ consisting of direct, indirect and investment spend areas.

Simo Saastamoinen has a DI from LUT University in Industrial Management, Logistics. Simo also has an MSc. from Cranfield University in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. Simo is certified from the FINLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE kauppakamari in HHJ Puheenjohtaja (Approved Board Member, Chairman of Board) and HHJ Hyväksytty hallituksen jäsen (ABM Approved Board Member). Simo is also certified from APICS as a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
