Valerie Slater

Valerie Slater, LCSW, CCM, serves as the Director of Case Management at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation since May 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing a 100+ bed acute rehabilitation hospital's case management department and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Previous experience includes leading the social services department at CenterLight Health System and serving as Administrative Director for Care Management at Mount Sinai Health Partners, where strategic programmatic goals and compliance with payer contracts were established. Valerie's earlier roles include directing social work at MJHS and providing care coordination at UnitedHealth Group.
