Derek Wilson

Derek Wilson is an experienced professional in the coal industry with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as CHPP Manager at Kestrel Coal Resources since May 2021, Derek previously held similar managerial positions at Anglo American and Stanmore Coal Limited. Prior roles include Asset Maintenance Superintendent at Stanmore Coal Limited, Director at JHC Mining Services, and various management positions at Yancoal Australia Limited and Wesfarmers Curragh. Derek began a career in operations and maintenance at BHP Billiton, where multiple supervisory roles were undertaken. Derek holds a Graduate Diploma in Maintenance Management from CQUniversity and a Diploma of Business in Frontline Management from AIM.
