Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Salve Regina University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Boston College. Karen received her LICSW over 15 years ago and has worked for Key for 30 years holding many positions from Outreach and Tracking Caseworker to Family Networks Director. Karen was the President of the Fall River DCF Board for over 15 years which demonstrates her commitment to child welfare and community partnership. Karen has completed extensive training in trauma with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy and has received her certification. She continues to practice in a community-based mental health outpatient clinic.
