Tom Daniel PMP®

Tom Daniel PMP® has a diverse work experience in project management and cyber security roles. Tom is currently serving as a Senior Project Manager - Cyber Security at Rocket Software since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Cyber Security Project Manager at Tech Mahindra from July 2021 to November 2022.

From February 2011 to June 2021, Tom held the position of IT Security Project Manager & Senior Business Analyst. During this period, they worked with various clients including PEN Consultants, LawPoint, The Consilium Group, Iserve Technology Consulting Ltd., The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, RejobNet, Coy Studios, eSCRIBE, and Ryerson University. Tom successfully managed projects and maintained client relationships by providing support, guidance, and recommending improvements. Tom was responsible for project tracking, monitoring, scope management, resource allocation, budget estimation, task management, and deployment. Tom also conducted vulnerability management, scanning, penetration testing, and threat detection activities. Tom worked collaboratively with IT and business teams for risk mitigation and vulnerability remediation. Additionally, they managed project budgets ranging from $10K to $180K and supervised on-shore and off-shore development teams.

Tom's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Consultant / Project Manager at Deloitte Consulting from 2004 to 2010.

Tom Daniel PMP® has a diverse education history. In 2018 and 2019, they attended Centennial College, where they pursued a Post Graduate Certificate program in Cyber Security. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1989, they completed a Diploma in Computer Science at Datamatics Computer Training Ltd, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.

Additionally, Tom holds a Master's Degree in Sociology from Sri Venkateswara University, although the specific years of enrollment and completion are unknown. Tom also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Kerala, for which the timeframe is also unspecified.

In terms of certifications, Tom has completed various courses and programs. Notable certifications include the Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained from the Project Management Institute in September 2005. Tom also holds a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Ottawa, achieved in October 2000.
