John Parfett

John Parfett has a strong and extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. John has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Plant Director at Keyera, where they were responsible for strategic planning and leadership. Prior to that, they served as Incident Commander and Plant Manager at Keyera Fort Saskatchewan NGL Cavern Storage and Fractionation Complex. Additionally, they were the Operations Manager at Keyera - Alberta Envirofuels Isooctane Facility. John has also worked at Alberta Envirofuels Inc. as the EOC Director, Maintenance Manager, Electrical Specialist, and Turnaround Coordinator. John started their career as a Maintenance Electrician at Sherrit Gordon Mines and an Apprentice Electrician at Sunset Electric.

John Parfett attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) from 1980 to 1982, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. John also holds additional certifications, including an Electrical Masters Certification from the Safety Codes Council and NCCP Development Level 1 and 2 from Hockey Canada National Coaching Certification.
