Lance Tofsrud

Lance Tofsrud has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Lance began their career as a Product Analyst/Development Team Lead at ATCO I-Tek in 2001 and then transitioned to Business Process Analyst at ATCO Power in 2005. At ATCO Power, they played a key role in mapping and automating business processes and developed a front end interface using MS Access and Oracle to provide real-time operational metrics. In 2010, Lance joined Kryos Systems as a Senior Technical Project Manager/Solution Architect. Lance then moved to Suncor Energy in 2012, where they worked as a Business Analyst for a year. Lance then joined Inter Pipeline in 2013, where they held various project management and business analyst roles, including overseeing the upgrade of XenMobile and the migration of users to iOS and Android. Lance'smost recent position was at Keyera, where they started in 2016 as an IT Project Manager (Contract). Lance later became the Service Delivery Team Lead and, currently, they hold the role of Principal Cloud Architect.

Lance Tofsrud completed a Bachelor of Information Technology degree in Information Technology at the University of the Fraser Valley from 1998 to 2000. Lance then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology degree in Information Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Beginner Norwegian from Duolingo in 2018.
