Sooyong Lee

Sooyong Lee began their work experience as a QA Engineer at Microsoft assigned by Volt in 1997. Sooyong worked on various projects including building sample data for a Korean handwriting recognition project. Sooyong also tested language neutral RichEdit control versions 2.0 and 3.0 in the RichEdit group, and tested various text editing controls in the Outlook (Exchange server's client) group.

In 2000, Lee joined AOL (formerly Tegic Communications) as a Sr. QA Engineer, where they managed a team to test Wireless Village server/client and server/server systems for a mobile/desktop AIM solution. Additionally, they tested T9 predictive text input software for multilingual integrity.

Lee then moved on to AOL Time Warner Inc. in 2004, taking on the role of Sr. Country Manager. During their time there, they managed major handset OEM accounts such as Samsung, LGE, and Pantech, securing numerous multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts for predictive text input solutions. Sooyong also developed new business cases for OEMs.

In 2007, Lee joined Nuance Communications as Sr. Country Manager. Sooyong'sresponsibilities included managing OEM accounts in Korea, including Samsung, LGE, and Pantech, and securing numerous multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts for voice recognition and text input solutions. Sooyong also developed new business cases for OEM/carriers.

In 2013, Lee joined KeyPoint Technologies as VP Sales, where they played a key role in the company's sales strategies and initiatives.

Sooyong Lee completed a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies, as well as Chinese Language, from Hankook University of Foreign Studies (Cyber) from 2012 to 2015. In 2006 to 2007, Sooyong Lee received a Business Administration Certificate in Financial Management from EBS Managers Society MBA. Additionally, Sooyong Lee studied Electro-mechanical drafting at North Seattle College from 1989 to 1990 and Robotics Technology at Griffin College from 1987 to 1989. In 1982 to 1983, Sooyong Lee studied English literature and language at Kookmin University.
