Katherine Sakoda

Katherine Sakoda is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in tax controversy and risk management. Currently serving as Director of Tax Controversy and Risk Management at Keysight Technologies since September 2020, Sakoda previously held the position of Counsel for Global Tax Controversy. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Tax at SoftBank Group International and Senior Manager of International Tax Planning at McKesson, where responsibilities encompassed strategic tax management. Early career experience includes positions at Baker & McKenzie as an Associate and Summer Associate, a Development Intern at Education Through Music, and legal internships at the United States Attorney's Office and with attorney Roger B. Lytel. Sakoda holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Psychology and Law & Society with high honors from UC Santa Barbara.
