Dontavius Smith

Football Offensive Coordinator & Quarterbacks Coach at Keystone College

Smith is entering his third season as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach of the Giants.

Prior to Keystone, Smith was the Wide Receivers/Quarterbacks Coach at Sul Ross State University for two seasons, coaching multiple All-Conference players. From 2014-16, he coached the wide receivers (14-15) and running backs (15-16) at Waldorf University.

Smith spent one year at the Atlanta Sports Academy as the Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach, helping lead the team to a 11-4 record, as well as an offense that averaged 44 points per game, while accruing 5,500 total yards of offense on the year.

He began coaching collegiately at Widener University from 2012-13, as the Wide Receivers Coach. During that season, he helped lead Widener to a 12-1 overall mark and a spot in the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals. Furthermore, he helped lead a top 10 offense in the country, as well as coaching All-American wide receiver Anthony Davis.

Smith's coaching career began at the high school ranks in Georgia, where he was the Offensive Coordinator/Wide Receivers Coach at Metter High School from 2005-09 and the Secondary/Wide Receivers Coach at River Ridge High School from 2010-12.

A native of Warner Robins, Ga., Smith earned his bachelor's in Kinesiology with a minor in coaching at Georgia Southern University. He has also earned his master's in education at Kaplan University and a master's in health and human performance from Sul Ross State.
