Linda Black

Linda Black has over 19 years of work experience in the medical field. Linda began their career in 2002 as a Medical Secretary at Excela Health. In 2010, they moved to UNC REX Healthcare as a Medical Office Specialist. In 2013, they worked as a Centralized Scheduler at Ozarks Medical Center and an Office Specialist at Premier Medical Center. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Documentation Specialist at First Community Bank. During this time, they were responsible for communicating with bank employees and office personnel, receiving confidential documentation, and placing them into the bank's records and customer accounts. In 2017, Linda worked as a Reconciliation Coordinator at MD2U and a Medical Office Clerk at Hardin Memorial Health. In 2020, they moved to UPMC as a Front Office Specialist. Currently, Linda is a Certified Medical Coder, CPC at Keystone Rural Health Center where they are responsible for preparing and sending invoices or claims for payments, correcting rejected claims, and posting payments and tracking payments.

Linda Black obtained a Certified Coder degree from AAPC in the field of Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder. Linda then attended Westmoreland County Community College from 1998 to 2000 where they received a Certified Medical Billing/Coding degree in the field of Medical Billing.
