Valdimar Oskarsson

Valdimar Oskarsson has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity, having worked in various positions related to security and risk management throughout their career. Valdimar is currently the CEO and co-founder of Keystrike, as well as holding the position of CISO at Jiko. Prior to this, Valdimar served as the CEO of Syndis for six years. Valdimar was also the founder and chairman of the board of Adversary. Valdimar has held several CISO positions, including at TRANSFAST - Worldwide Money Transfer and Betssongroup, where they were also the Chief Security Officer. Valdimar has worked as a senior security consultant, a PCI QSA, and a security consultant for numerous Icelandic and international companies. Valdimar has also instructed Microsoft-certified courses and managed the operation and security of the platform solution provided by Betware for the Danish Lottery.

Valdimar Oskarsson obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark in the years from 1983-1987. Later on, they pursued an M.Sc in Information Security at the University of Liverpool from 2006-2008. Apart from these two education degrees, they also obtained an additional certification in M.Sc. Information Technology/information security from the University of Liverpool. However, the obtained month and year for this certification are not mentioned.
