Peter Gerson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Peter is currently serving as the Head of Global Player Engagement Solutions at Keywords Studios since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked at 5CA from February 2016 to September 2019, where they held positions such as Vice President Strategic Partnerships and Vice President Business Development. Before that, they were an Interim VP Sales at Rydoo in 2015. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as the Director of Business Development at Yellowtail. From 2003 to 2012, they founded and served as the Managing Director of Monetology Financial Services, providing medical aid, pension/provident, and life cover to clients. Peter also worked as the Managing Director/Country Manager at Cognos from 1999 to 2002, where they established channel partners in South Africa and Africa. Before that, from 1984 to 1987, they earned a Diploma in Data from the same university, specializing in Computers and Programming. Peter also completed their Matric degree in Humanities from King Edward VII School between 1978 and 1982. In addition to their formal education, Peter has also obtained certifications such as CCXP from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) in 2018 and RE1 and RE5 FSB SA Financial Adviser and Key Individual from the Financial Services Board in 2012.
