Stephen Peacock

Stephen Peacock has extensive experience in the gaming industry, with a career spanning over two decades. Stephen currently serves as the Head of Games AI at Keywords Studios, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of AI/ML for Games at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2017 to 2023. During their time at AWS, their focus was on helping game developers create games faster and easier through digital transformation and cloud adoption.

Before joining AWS, Peacock worked as the VP Business Development at GameScribes from 2015 to 2017 and as the Business Development - Games at Alpha from 2013 to 2015. Stephen played a key role in opening new markets and driving growth for these companies.

Peacock also has experience in sales and marketing roles in the gaming industry. Stephen served as the Director of Sales MMO/Social at Babel Media from 2010 to 2013, where they led the digital transformation of services for social and online gaming, and secured notable account wins. Prior to this, they worked as the VP Product Marketing at Image Metrics from 2008 to 2009, where they developed new product concepts and raised external funding for the company's expansion.

In their earlier career, Peacock worked as the Head of Worldwide Sales at Emergent Game Technologies from 2007 to 2008, where they successfully reversed a multi-year negative revenue trend and expanded the company's serious games pipeline. Stephen also held the role of Global Games Manager at NXN Software Inc. from 1999 to 2005, where they excelled in sales, exceeding targets and winning multiple awards.

Stephen Peacock attended Guildford College from 1997 to 1999, where they studied Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology. Stephen has also obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty in September 2019, AWS Certified Developer - Associate in May 2019, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in February 2019.
