John Linares

John Linares serves as the General Counsel for Kezar Markets, LLC, since January 2010, where responsibilities include managing legal affairs, advising senior management and the Board of Directors, overseeing outside counsel, handling M&A activities, and drafting complex commercial agreements. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate focused on Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions at Bingham McCutchen LLP (Morgan Lewis) from June 2007 to December 2009, and as AVP & Corporate Legal Counsel at the Boston Stock Exchange from May 2006 to June 2007. Before that, John Linares worked as a Senior Legal Adviser at Fidelity Investments from December 2003 to May 2006. Education includes a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Asset Management from Yale School of Management, a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Bridgewater State University.
