John Swanepoel

John Swanepoel possesses extensive experience in the food service industry, particularly with KFC and Yum! Brands. Currently serving as Vice President and Business Head for KFC Ghana at Masco Foods since March 2019, John previously held the role of Director of Operations for Pizza Hut across the Western Cape, Botswana, and Nigeria from September 2016 to February 2019. John’s KFC career began in 2003 as a franchise owner and operator, earning multiple accolades including KFC Franchisee of the Year for Africa in 2010 and the Best Operated KFCs in Africa in 2008. Earlier experience includes serving as Area Manager and Training Manager with Yum! Brands, achieving the title of Manager of the Year for Africa in 1999 and 2000. John holds a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from a South African institution, completing studies in 1998.
