Zach Dyer

Zach Dyer is a seasoned audio producer and journalist with extensive experience in media production and reporting. Currently serving as Senior Producer, Audio at KFF Health News since January 2022, Zach previously held the title of Senior Producer and Engineer at Just Human Productions from September 2020 to January 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing podcast production and engineering. Earlier roles included General Assignment Reporter for The Tico Times in San José, Costa Rica, where coverage spanned topics such as business and LGBT issues, as well as Graduate Research Associate at the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, focusing on press freedom. Zach earned a Master's degree in Latin American Studies with an emphasis on energy policy from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis.
