Ole Christian Sande

Ole Christian Sande has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 2004, they started as a Customer Service Consultant at Living AS until 2006. Then, from 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Customer Service Consultant at KLP, where they provided advice on pension and insurance schemes.

In 2011, Sande joined DVB Bank SE as a Loan Administrator - AVP, managing a $1.0 billion portfolio of offshore and tanker credits. Ole Christian was responsible for loan disbursements, covenants monitoring, and day-to-day loan operations. Ole Christian was selected to handle special credits and co-wrote new internal procedures for handling loans in arrears. Ole Christian was later promoted to Transaction Manager - Vice President from 2014 to 2016, and then to Credit Officer - Vice President from July to December 2016.

After a brief paternity leave and travel period in 2017, Sande returned to DVB Bank SE as a Project Associate. Ole Christian worked on a project team focused on collecting, checking, and organizing collateral insurances. Ole Christian also co-wrote new procedures for the bank's insurance team.

From 2018 to 2020, Sande worked at Intesa Sanpaolo as a Trade Finance Officer, contributing to trade finance operations.

In 2020, Sande took a sabbatical year, traveling in Colombia.

Most recently, in 2021, they joined KfW IPEX-Bank as a Portfolio Manager - Vice President. In this role, they are responsible for post term sheet contract negotiations, client relationship management, and facility agent functions for a $2.4 billion maritime portfolio.

Ole Christian Sande began their education at Ålesund University College (HiÅ) in 2000, where they obtained a degree in Høgskolekandidat Eksportmarkedsføring (Export and Marketing) in 2002. From 2002 to 2003, they attended Hochschule Trier and earned a Bachelor of Business and Administration degree. In 2009, Sande pursued a Master of Finance degree at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), completing it in 2011. During their studies at NHH, they also spent a brief period in 2010 at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, focusing on Business and Administration.
