Friederike (Fritzi) Koehler-Geib, PhD has extensive experience in economics and finance. Friederike (Fritzi) started their career at the International Monetary Fund in 2007 as a Summer Intern. Friederike (Fritzi) then held various roles at the IMF until 2008. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at The World Bank, starting as an Economist and progressing to Program Leader and Lead Economist for Central America. In 2019, they joined KfW as Chief Economist. Their roles have focused on macro fiscal management, poverty reduction, and economic policy in regions such as Latin America and Central America.

Friederike (Fritzi) Koehler-Geib, PhD earned a Master's degree in Economics and International Management from the University of St.Gallen in 2002. Friederike (Fritzi) later obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2008. Additionally, they were a visiting PhD student at Center for Research in International Economics (CREI) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2006-2007. Furthermore, Friederike also attended visiting MBA classes in Advanced Finance at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2000, and in International Management at HEC Paris in 1999-2000.
