Andrea Knudson

Andrea Knudson has over 30 years of experience in IT and application development. Andrea is currently working as the Director of IT Applications at KGPCo, where they are leading the transition from Navision ERP to D365 Finance and Supply Chain for a large distribution and configuration line of business. Their responsibilities include vendor management, architecture oversight, extension development, reports transition, and data migration.

Prior to their current role, Andrea worked as the Director of Application Development at BioTE Medical. Andrea was responsible for corporate, sales, and clinic applications, as well as the system integration platform, reporting, and data platforms. Andrea led a team of developers and used Agile methodologies to enhance and maintain the applications.

Before joining BioTE Medical, Andrea held the position of Senior Director of Application Development at Goodman Solutions - Precision Service. Andrea was responsible for application development and production support for all Goodman applications and interfaces. Andrea managed a team of business analysts, developers, and DBAs supporting various applications.

Andrea's experience also includes serving as the Information Systems Director at Compucom Systems, where they provided direction and leadership for the corporate application development groups. Andrea managed 20 associates on three different teams and was responsible for maintaining and enhancing production applications, project evaluation and leadership, application selection, vendor management, and budgeting.

In the early years of their career, Andrea worked as a Systems Analyst at MCI Telecommunications and Optic Electronic. Their responsibilities included analyzing requirements, designing and implementing database solutions, writing reports, and providing production support. Andrea also project-managed the conversion of a manufacturing system from Unisys to IBM mainframe.

Overall, Andrea Knudson has a strong background in IT leadership, application development, and project management, with extensive experience in various industries.

Andrea Knudson has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Systems Analysis from Texas A&M University, which was obtained from 1987 to 1988. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university, completed from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their degrees, they hold various certifications including MB-920: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP) from Microsoft, Professional Scrum Master - I (PSM - I) from Scrum.org, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI, obtained in 2022, 2019, and 2013 respectively.
