Eva Marí De Jesús has a strong background in technical design and product development. Eva Marí is currently the Director of Technical Design at KHAITE. Prior to this, they founded DeHill Apparel Consulting, a product development consultancy that specializes in helping designers and brands bring high-quality apparel to market. With over 70 years of combined experience in technical design, pattern-making, grading, prototyping, fitting, sourcing, production, and operations, Eva is skilled in managing and executing projects from initial concept to full production.
Before founding their consultancy, Eva worked as a Technical Design Manager at Brooks Brothers, where they collaborated with design team leadership to align on seasonal design intent and developed strategies to maintain deadlines and troubleshoot. Eva Marí also worked as a Senior Technical Designer at Jones New York, where they created technical packages from proto development to production and led fittings to ensure fit, construction, and designers' aesthetic were achieved.
Eva's earlier experience includes working as a Head Designer at Gatsby, Puerto Rico, where they managed the workload for timely development of lines and maintained communication with overseas vendors. Eva Marí also worked as a Trend Analyst, Textile Designer, and Assistant Designer at San Juan Puerto Rico International Fashion Center, where they analyzed trend reports, designed and developed seasonal womenswear collections, and researched and sourced fabrics, trimmings, and components. Eva started their career as an Assistant Designer at Grit Seymour Studio, where they assisted in the preparation of mood boards, design sheets, and collection presentations.

Eva Marí De Jesús holds a Master's Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Domus Academy, which was obtained in the year 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico between 1995 and 2001. In 2004, Eva pursued further education in the field of Patternmaking Technology, earning an Associate's Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2006.
