Michael Morrissey

Michael Morrissey is an experienced educator currently serving as a Sixth Grade Math Teacher and Jump Start Teacher at York Prep since August 2018. In addition to this role, Michael has been an ambassador for Khan Academy since April 2017. Michael has previously worked as an Educational Consultant for Frame Change, developing a math curriculum for a 6th-grade intervention program. Other teaching positions include Math and Science Teacher at Prospect Schools, SAT English Teacher at The Armory Foundation, and SETSS Teacher at Immaculate Conception School and Cristo Rey High School. Michael's educational background includes a Master's in Literacy, Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Alfred University, and Bachelor's degrees in International Relations from SUNY Geneseo.
