Helen Hyeyoun Koo, CAMS has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Helen Hyeyoun began their career in 2008 as a Loan Officer at the Export-Import Bank of Korea in the Economic Development Cooperation Funds Office. In this role, they led a global development funding projects team, managed and participated in over 30 infrastructure projects for developing economies, and managed and reviewed overall funding processes and data and wire transfers of funding projects. In 2014, they moved to The Webcash as a Project Manager where they partnered with overseas branches and analyzed and conducted research on the economic and legal status in order to launch the products into global markets. In 2018, they began working at The Metalab of Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey as a Research Assistant. In this role, they conducted interviews and online and offline surveys toward residents of Salinas to collect data concerning relationships with the Police Department of Salinas, analyzed the quantitative and qualitative data through data clearing and validation to produce meaningful report for improving police-community relations. Also in 2018, they began working at Kharon as a Sanctions Research Analyst where they researched on export control entity lists, sanctioned entities and individuals, and their networks and published regularly research briefs on the sanctions environment. Additionally, they worked at Media Services as a Graduate Assistant.

Helen Hyeyoun Koo, CAMS, holds a Master of Arts from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, where they focused on Nonproliferation and Terrorism, Financial Crime Management. Helen Hyeyoun also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Korea University, where they studied Spanish Language and Literature.
