Denes Tilistyak

Nearly two decades ago, right after graduating with a BA in Mathematics and English Language and Literature in Hungary, Denes found himself on a plane headed for New York City, where he started his teaching career in secondary mathematics. After teaching in the Big Apple for 3 years, he headed to a warmer climate: first to the Philippines (2 years) and then to China (11 years) to teach MYP and DP mathematics. During those years, he became a DP mathematics examiner, earned his M.Ed., and gained leadership experience in various positions.
