Emmanuel Bashige

Emmanuel Bashige, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Currently, they serve as the Director of Finance and Administration at Khethimpilo. Prior to this, they worked at World Vision as a Grants Finance Manager from October 2018 to June 2022, and also from February 2016 to March 2019. Before World Vision, they were a Finance Specialist and Finance Coordinator at Save the Children International from June 2015 to February 2016, and from August 2014 to June 2015, respectively. Emmanuel also had experience as an Administrator and Board member at Savings and Credit Cooperative (Coopérative d'Epargnes & des Crédits - MECRE Kadutu) from April 2014 to March 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked at UNDP as a Finance Associate from February 2011 to March 2014, and as a Finance Assistant from July 2009 to February 2011. Emmanuel'sfirst managerial role was at Radio Maendeleo (NGO), where they served as the Finance and Administrative Manager from January 2008 to June 2009, and previously as the Manager of Community Multimedia Center (CMC) from October 2001 to December 2007.

Emmanuel obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Unicaf University Zambia, graduating in 2022. Prior to this, they completed an MBA degree in Marketing from Headway University in 2012. In 2007, they obtained a Licence (Bac+5) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from CEPROMAD University, where they also earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field from 2001 to 2003.

Emmanuel has also acquired additional certifications throughout their career. Emmanuel received a Certificate of Achievement for a $24m USDA FFP Proposal from World Vision in June 2022. In May 2019, they obtained a Certificate for Completion of Finance Leaders Orientation and Training (FLOaT) and became a Certified Grants Manager, both from World Vision USA. In 2017, they received a certificate for attending Finance Reporting, Cost Allocation, OLAP & SUN System Trainings from World Vision. Emmanuel also completed the Gateway to Grants Training in 2016 and Fraud Investigation Training in 2015, both from different institutions. In 2009, Emmanuel obtained a Certificate for Completion of Human Resources Development Training from DW Akademie.

Furthermore, they hold a certificate in Development Diplomacy from the Diplo Foundation, acquired in 2018, and a certificate in Accounting Management (CSP) from Collège Alfajiri - Bukavu in 2001.
