Sven Strohband

Sven Strohband, currently a Managing Director at Khosla Ventures, is an early investor in technically interesting companies, with a focus on robotics such as Berkshire Grey and Giant. Previously, Sven has held roles as a Partner and CTO at MetaMind, CEO at Mohr Davidow Ventures, and Senior Engineer at Volkswagen of America. With a Ph.D. in Mechanics & Computation from Stanford University, Sven also served as the Lead Engineer for the Stanford Racing Team that entered the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge with the vehicle "Stanley."
