Dw Kim

DW Kim has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Management Trainee at Samsung from July 1996 to August 1997. They then worked as an Auditor at Brown & Co. from December 1999 to March 2000. Following that, they joined Travelers Insurance as a Tax Accountant from March 2000 to January 2003. They then worked at Tetra Pak as a Financial Analyst/Accounting Manager/Cost Accountant from January 2003 to June 2008. This was followed by a role as a Sr. Accounting Supervisor at Caterpillar Inc. from June 2008 to March 2009. Currently, DW Kim is working at Kia Georgia, Inc. as the Director of Finance, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this role, they also held the position of Sr. Manager - Cost Accounting (Head of Dept) at Kia Georgia, Inc. from April 2009. They have extensive experience in finance and accounting, including budget control, month-end closing, profit analysis reporting, and supervising tax departments.

DW then pursued a Master's degree in Accountancy at Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1998 to 1999. From 1999 to 2002, they attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Taxation. Finally, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota in 2007-2008.
