Hadiyah Mujhid is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the nonprofit and venture capital sectors. As the CEO and Founder of HBCUvc since April 2017, Hadiyah has focused on mobilizing Black communities to invest in their own well-being. Current roles include serving as an Angel Investor at Ada Ventures and Kibo School, and previously held positions as a Venture Scout at Lightspeed Venture Partners and Indie.vc. Hadiyah's commitment to social justice and education is evidenced by participation in the Echoing Green and Praxis fellowships. Additionally, Hadiyah co-founded Black Founders Startup Ventures, aimed at supporting Black tech entrepreneurs, and has a background in software engineering, having worked at Lockheed Martin for a decade. Hadiyah holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and an MBA in Information Systems from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business.
