Andrew McCalister

CEO & Co-Founder at Kickpay

Andrew McCalister has had a diverse career, beginning with an internship at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd in 2006. In 2008 they founded Ncapsulate and completed industrial placements at Cambridge University Masters. In 2009 they completed an internship at JRBH Strategy & Management, where they created a database and analysed the fastest growing companies in the FTSE 350. Andrew was also the Cleantech Channel Editor at Intruders TV. In 2010 they were the Director of Business Development at Heyzap and was also a Global Research Awardee at the Royal Academy of Engineering, where they were the youngest ever winner. Finally, in 2011 they were an advisor at Mino Games, and from 2014 to present they have been the CEO & Co-Founder of Kickpay, transforming how hardware companies finance their inventory.

Andrew McCalister began their educational journey in 2004 when they attended the University of Glasgow and The Glasgow School of Art, where they earned a BEng with Honors in Product Design Engineering from both institutions. In 2008, they went on to pursue an MPhil with Distinction in Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management from the University of Cambridge. Andrew also attended Belmont but did not receive a degree.
