Alan Spybey

Director, Product Intelligence And Development at KickStart International

Alan Spybey has had a diverse work experience. Alan started their career as a Workshop Manager at Jacaranda Workshop in 1982, where they established and expanded an employment facility for intellectually disabled young adults in Nairobi, Kenya. Alan then moved on to ApproTEC in 1995, where they worked as a Project Manager until 2001. At ApproTEC, they were responsible for managing projects. In 2001, they joined KickStart International as the Director of Technology Development. Alan held this position until 2012, during which they focused on developing and implementing new technologies. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Director of Product Intelligence and Development at KickStart International, where they conducted market intelligence and developed product solutions. Overall, Alan Spybey has demonstrated their expertise in project management, technological development, and market analysis throughout their career.

Alan Spybey completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Edith Cowan University in 2012. Alan pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Open University, which they completed between 1997 and 2002. Prior to that, Alan obtained a Certificate of Education (Cert Ed) with a focus on Design Technology from Shoreditch College, which they achieved from 1979 to 1981.
