Nicholas Phillips

Nicholas Phillips has a diverse work experience in various companies. Nicholas started their career as a Firefighter EMT at CAL FIRE in 2014 and worked there until 2016. Nicholas then joined Marcus & Millichap as an Associate from 2017 to 2020. Following that, they were an Associate Director at Stan Johnson Company from February 2020 to January 2023. Nicholas then worked as an Associate Director at Northmarq from November 2022 to May 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Kidder Mathews, starting in May 2023. In their current role, they focus on assisting private investors, developers, and business operators in the valuation, acquisition, and financing of investment real estate, specializing in net-leased retail and industrial properties on a national level.

Nicholas Phillips received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in the years 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Fire Science from Allan Hancock College from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their academic degrees, Nicholas has obtained several certifications including Basic Fire Suppression Orientation, Wildland Firefighting, Wildland Fire Behavior, Human Factors on the Fire Line, and Wildland Urban Interface from the National Wildfire Coordinating Group in 2011. Nicholas also received Fire Control 4A and 4B certifications in Flammable Gases and Liquids Fire Fighting from Allan Hancock College in 2011. Furthermore, Nicholas obtained certifications in Hazardous Materials First Responder FRO, WMD, and DECON from the California Specialized Training Institute in 2011. Nicholas also completed certifications in ICS-100 Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS-200 Basic Incident Command System, and IS-700 National Incident Management System Intro from FEMA in 2011. Nicholas holds certifications from the California State Fire Marshal in areas such as Firefighter 1, Confined Space Awareness, Firefighter Survival, Auto Extrication, NFA Fire/Arson Detection, Low Angle Rope Rescue Operational (LARRO), and Rescue Systems 1. Additionally, they obtained an Emergency Medical Technician certification from the State of California in 2010 and holds a Real Estate Salesperson's License from the State of California.
