Richard A. Smith

Richard A. Smith is an accomplished dance professional with extensive experience in leadership and artistic direction. As the Chief Executive Officer of 360 Dance Festival since December 2018 and the Artistic Director of Inaside Chicago Dance since August 2009, Richard has been instrumental in advancing American jazz dance. Additionally, Richard serves as a Regional and National Adjudicator for Kids Artistic Revue and has held the position of Assistant Director at Forum Jazz Dance Theatre since August 2002, overseeing rehearsal schedules and choreography preparations. Richard holds a BFA in Dance Performance with a focus on jazz dance from East Carolina University, earned between 1995 and 2000.
