Sandy Forbes

Sandy Forbes serves as Board Chair and Non-Executive Director at Kids First Australia and Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre, respectively, while also holding the position of Director at Acuity Consulting since March 2020. Previously, Sandy spent a decade at The Nous Group as Principal, where significant contributions included directing projects to enhance agency performance regarding CBD rough sleeping. From 2004 to 2010, Sandy was General Manager at the Department of Planning and Community Development, leading vocational education and training reforms in the Victorian community sector. Earlier roles include Director of Policy and Strategic Projects at the Department of Human Services Victoria and Managing Director of a self-owned consulting business. Sandy holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Master of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Politics from the University of Melbourne, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
