Kara Nguyen is the Director of Generosity and Growth at KIDS HOPE USA, with previous experience as the Director of Development at Mercy House Living Centers. Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Leadership & Non-Profit Development from Aquinas College and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Kids Hope USA
Kids Hope USA pairs local churches with elementary schools, sending volunteer mentors to meet one-on-one with students who could benefit from an additional adult in their life. The key to these relationships is consistency: each mentors shows up every week, for one hour to meet with their student, and their student only. By fostering these one-on-one relationships between mentors and students, we see real life change happen when a caring adult consistently shows up for a child in need.
