Alexander Thomas

Alexander Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Alexander began their career in 1989 as a Legislative Correspondent in the Office of U.S. Senator Charles S. Following this role, they served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia. In 1994, they joined the U.S. Department of Justice as a Trial Attorney and later became a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. In 1999, they transitioned to Reed Smith LLP, where they held various leadership roles, including Global Managing Partner and Executive Committee Chair. Alexander'smain areas of expertise were commercial litigation, antitrust counseling, compliance matters, and competition-related disputes. Currently, they serve as the Chief Legal Officer at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).

Alexander Thomas has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. Prior to that, they attended Trinity College-Hartford from 1984 to 1988, although the field of study and degree obtained during this time are unspecified.
