Grace DeNoon is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in immigration law and child protection. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney on the Detained Team at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) since August 2022, Grace previously worked as a Staff Attorney for the Children’s Program at the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project from September 2020 to December 2022. Grace's legal career began with roles such as a Student Representative at the Center for Applied Legal Studies at Georgetown Law and a Research Assistant at the Human Rights Institute, also at Georgetown Law. Prior experience includes a Child Protection Internship with UNHCR in Malaysia, and various roles in management and research related to human rights and advocacy. Grace holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Anthropology from Colby College.
