Tara King

Tara King has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tara currently holds the position of VP, Culture & Communications at Kids2 since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director, Head of Global Communications & Culture at the same company since January 2019.

Before joining Kids2, Tara worked at The Coca-Cola Company as the Global Strategic Communications Senior Manager, Integrated Services from September 2016 to January 2019. In this role, they led communications and engagement strategies for various stakeholders, including senior executives and front-line employees.

From May 2011 to September 2016, Tara worked as the Director of Corporate Communications at Kids II. Tara developed and executed a comprehensive communications strategy while serving as the strategic communications partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. Tara'sresponsibilities included overseeing internal and external communications, crisis management, and PR programs.

Prior to Kids II, Tara held the position of Senior Manager, Media Relations/Public Relations at AmericasMart Atlanta/AMC Inc from April 2006 to May 2011. Tara was responsible for media relations, copywriting, managing website messaging, and implementing social media initiatives.

Tara's earlier work experience includes roles such as Account Manager at William Mills Agency from August 2003 to April 2006, Assistant Account Executive at Moore Consulting Group from May 2002 to July 2003, and Marketing and Public Relations Intern at Tallahassee Community Hospital from September 2001 to December 2001.

Tara King earned a BS in Communications with a focus on Public Relations from Florida State University from 1999 to 2003.
