Martine van der Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Martine is currently the Chief Product Officer at KidsKonnect, a position they started in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Just Eat Takeaway.com, where they held the roles of Global Head of Product from October 2021 to September 2022, and Lead Product Strategy & Operations from September 2020 to October 2021. Before entering the technology and e-commerce sector, Martine worked at KLM, starting as an E-commerce manager in 2013 and progressing to roles such as Product Manager a.i., Unit Manager, Program Manager Decision Support, Head of Product, and Director Digital. Martine'sresponsibilities at KLM included leading digital service and innovation, mobile solutions and customer service, operational management, and product development. Martine also has experience outside the private sector, having worked as a Policy Advisor at the VSNU, President at Netherlands Worldwide Students, Project Manager at Netherlands Institute for Higher Education Ankara, Intern at the United Nations, and Debate Trainer at the Dutch National Youth Council.
Martine van der Lee completed their Master of Arts in Political Science at Central European University from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from University College Roosevelt, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Martine also participated in a delegate program focused on United Nations and Multilateral Diplomacy: Theory and Practice at Radboud University. Additionally, Martine took part in an exchange program at Bogazici University Istanbul. Martine completed their secondary education at Stedelijk Gymnasium 's-Hertogenbosch.
