Hector Verde

Hector Verde has extensive experience in research and development within the automotive industry, currently serving as R&D Senior Manager and Head of Customer Project Steering for FCA and Electric Vehicle Customers at Kiekert AG since August 2009. Previously, Hector held various positions at GECOM Corp, including Sr. R&D Manager, where oversight of automobile closure component development and design activities for all customers was key. Hector's earlier experience at GECOM Corporation involved managing and supervising closure systems design while beginning a career as a Structures Engineer at Rockwell, performing stress analysis on Space Shuttle Orbiters. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
