Finn Ole Semrau

Finn Ole Semrau is a postdoctoral researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, with affiliations to the Kiel Centre for Globalization and the Kiel Africa Initiative, specializing in green innovation policy and sustainable global value chains. Since July 2016, Finn has been a freelance consultant in monitoring and evaluation, leading mobile-based survey implementations and conducting data analysis. Additional consulting roles include work with GFA Consulting Group and GIZ GmbH, where Finn has contributed expertise in monitoring and evaluation activities in developing countries. Finn's academic background includes a PhD in Quantitative Economics from Kiel University, along with multiple degrees in Economics, and experience as a visiting researcher at Trinity College Dublin.
