Kiel Institute for the World Economy
Michael Porcellacchia is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy since September 2022, and previously served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University from September 2016 to September 2022. Michael has a robust academic background, having earned a PhD in Economics and an MA from Northwestern University, as well as a Master's degree in Economic and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi. Michael participated in various educational programs, including an Advanced Economics Exchange Program at Yale University and a Bachelor's Exchange Program at Tsinghua University. Early professional experiences include positions as a Research Assistant at Università Bocconi and roles at Morgan Stanley as a Campus Ambassador and intern.
