Yuhyun Ji is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Merck since January 2024, focusing on computational approaches to enhance the adjuvanted vaccine development process through the analysis of vaccine adjuvant-induced signals using statistics and machine learning. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University from August 2019 to September 2023, where Yuhyun Ji built customized hyperspectral imaging systems and developed computational imaging platforms for biomarker capture at high frame rates. Additional roles involved developing AI algorithms for skin color extraction and assisting in teaching bioimaging courses. As a Guest Researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, classification and segmentation tools for detecting dental issues were developed. Previous experience includes conducting research on adjuvant-producing bacteria at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology and fulfilling military service in the Republic of Korea Army from September 2011 to September 2013. Yuhyun Ji holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology from Korea University.
