Mark Harvey

Mark Harvey (CEng MIET) has over 25 years of work experience in the engineering and technology fields. Mark is currently serving as the Head of Professional Technology Services at Kier Group since September 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the Value-Added Engineering (VAE) team and Intelligent technology Asset Centre (ITAC) team, ensuring the delivery of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to clients.

Before joining Kier Group, Mark worked as the Professional Services Manager within the Kier Technology Team (KTS) from November 2021 to the present. In this role, they were responsible for managing and governing the VAE and ITAC teams, providing a wide range of services such as Technology Asset Development, Professional Consultancy, and Data Analysis.

Prior to their roles at Kier Group, Mark worked at Amey, where they served as a Project Manager from July 2014 to October 2016. In this role, they gained expertise in scheme delivery processes for technology upgrades and new installations. Mark also worked as a Project Engineer from July 2012 to July 2014, overseeing the delivery of various schemes on the West Midlands TechMac contract.

Mark's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Commissioning & Inspection Engineer at Amey, where they led the installation and commissioning of fog detectors within the West Midlands TechMac area. Mark also worked as an ANPR Maintenance Manager at telent, where they liaised directly with the police to ensure the maintenance of their ANPR network.
